Stella is back with their sophomore album! Jumping from where they left off, Stella returns with a refined sound. They skillfully retain the original tone they established on their debut self-titled album; while implementing more pop sensibilities into their vocabulary. Vocals drenched in lush reverb, with beautiful harmonies, flowing overtop of driving beats and jangly guitars, At other times they provide slow cavernous drums and huge walls of sludgy, delayed guitars. On Skin and Seeds, Stella once again evokes a colorful world of immediate upbeat fun, to lush romance; and nostalgia.
