about

Zach Zint's third release with Rebore, Drunken Self Loathing, is a highly experiemental, and very personal. During the making of this album Zach worked through issues of drinking and substances abuse, depression, isolation, and residual guilt from a Catholic upbringing. The challenges he faced in his personal life appear in equally challenging music. Warped samples and digitally mangled field recordings, grimey industrial soundscapes, polyrhythmic and free drumming, detail oriented ear candies, somber and at times beautiful piano melodies. Drunken Self Loathing is Zach is at his most earnest and challenging music yet.
